Blockify (“Blockify”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) turns a photo into a playable Minecraft skin. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Blockify iOS app and this website. Blockify is operated by Photo2Skin.
By using Blockify, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
- Photos you capture or upload for skin generation.
- Text prompts you enter when using Text-to-Skin.
- Skins you generate and your generation history.
- Usage data — request counts and basic, non-identifying interactions used to operate the service and enforce limits.
- Purchase and credit status, processed by Apple. We never receive or store your payment-card details.
- Website analytics — see “Cookies & Analytics” below.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To generate your skins and provide the core features of the app.
- To enforce credit limits and prevent abuse or fraud.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the app and website.
- To respond to your support requests.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos to build advertising profiles.
3. Photo Handling
When you create a skin, your photo is sent to our servers and to a third-party AI provider solely to generate your skin. Your photo is processed in memory and is not stored after your skin has been generated. The resulting skins are saved to your generation history so you can revisit them.
4. Cookies & Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). Google Analytics sets cookies and may process your data with IP anonymization enabled. We use this only in aggregate to improve the site. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser, which we respect.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your data. We share information only with service providers necessary to operate Blockify — for example, our hosting provider, our AI generation provider, Apple (for purchases), and our analytics provider. These providers may only use the data to perform services for us.
6. Data Retention
We retain your generation history and minimal usage and purchase data only as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations. Source photos are not retained after processing (see “Photo Handling”).
7. Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
Blockify is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it. Minors who use Blockify should do so with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
9. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on where you live (e.g. under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can request deletion of your data at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
10. International Users
Blockify is operated from Dubai and your data may be processed in countries other than your own. By using Blockify, you consent to this transfer, where permitted by law.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes will be communicated within the app or on this page.
